My name is Evelyn Johnson. I am writing this letter on behalf of Bruce Kendrick, his non-profit, Senior and Veteran's Alliance Foundation, and his Local Union 525. I would like to humbly thank Mr. Kendrick, the volunteers, and the generosity from his wonderful Local Union 525.
My dear husband of 31 years passed away on May 05, 2018. He served in the United States military, Army Branch for 11 years with two tours in Vietnam. Since his passing it has been hard on me financially with the upkeep of my home, things my (deceased) husband was going to take care of Due to his untimely death, these issues became neglected. My Master bathroom shower was in dire need of replacing old, corroded piping, and its shower pan which had a whole in it, causing leakages and bad drainage. My elderly mother, (age 99 y/o) who resides with me and is under my care, along with myself was able to have the Master bathroom replaced with a brand new, up to date shower unit, a new shower pan, a beautiful glass sliding door, a unit that is handicap equip. Mr. Kendrick, a few good people who volunteered their time, along with Local Union 525 removed the old corroded piping in my bathroom wall and floor, replaced it with new, up to date standardized piping for proper drainage, re-painted my bathroom walls to match my new shower unit, replaced the old tile floor with new tile, and its base board molding with new molding.
Mr. Kendrick removed old corroded pipes in my kitchen wall tied to my washer machine and replaced it with up to date standardized piping for proper drainage. A nice gentlemen who volunteered his time painted my kitchen, giving it the makeover it badly needed. Mr. Kendrick as well performed a small tile job underneath my kitchen stove, ensuring my stove is firmly balance and not wobbling like once before. To conclude, Mr. Kendrick fixed my toilet in my guess bathroom that came unbolted from the floor, causing it to be off balance and leak from its base.
This would have never been made possible had it not been for Mr. Kendrick, his non profit, Senior and Veteran's Alliance Foundation, its volunteers, along with his wonderful Local Union 525 and their generosity. My elderly mother and I cannot thank you good people enough for all your kind deeds delivered. God's blessings to you and yours always.
